A woman has recounted the awkward moment she met James Buckley and ended up doing a fingering impression. Watch her tell the humiliating tale here:
Buckley and his wife Clair were doing a signing session for their new book, based on their YouTube series, At Home With the Buckleys.

Danni Jackson had never seen the series before, but she went along with a friend who was a big fan - and ended up humiliating herself 'on an unbelievable scale'.
"I get in the queue, and it's my turn to go up," Danni said in a video posted on TikTok.
"And the first thing I do to embarrass myself is I say to them, 'Oh I've never seen your YouTube series,' which they looked a bit confused about.
"And then I proceeded to ask James to do his fingering impression of Jay from The Inbetweeners, to which he said he couldn't remember it."

Keen to jog the 35-year-old's memory, Danni took it upon herself to reenact it for him.
Danni continued: "Then I start doing the fingering impression - his wife is making an uncomfortable noise, he looks a bit uncomfortable, says he can't remember it."
Of course, the most precious embarrassing moments are the ones that are caught on camera and spread widely across the internet, and fortunately, there was a photographer on hand to document the uncomfortable encounter.

Danni said: "I'm doing the fingering impression while there's a woman saying, 'Shall I take a photo of you?'
"Little do I know she's taking multiple photos whilst I'm asking him to do the fingering impression. He's proceeding to tell me he can't remember how he did it because he doesn't watch The Inbetweeners back.
"I said 'You've let me down,' he said 'I don't want to let you down,' but I said 'You have let me down.' ... Digging myself a hole. Making myself a very, very strange individual. That I was on day release."
Thankfully, Danni then did the honourable thing and shared the snaps captured during their awkward meet and greet.

Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised though that Buckley can't recall his fingering shenanigans on the hit sitcom. Speaking back in January, he said there isn't enough money in the world to make him play the character again.
Speaking on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, he said: "I love the boys, I love the writers. Doing The Inbetweeners was the best job in the world.
"All we did was muck around all day long and they filmed us doing it, and at the end of the day, we might have had an episode, or a film or something. It was the best job in the world.

"But it might - you know, as I'm getting older - it's looking like it might be the only thing that I do professionally that is universally loved.
"There's not enough money in the world for me to spoil that."
