Jennifer Lawrence has gotten candid about her bizarre scar-like tattoo.
During an interview with British Vogue, the actor revealed the tattoo on her hand is actually the symbol for water, in an effort to remind herself to drink more water.
She also admitted it is actually drawn incorrectly.

"I should have Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever. I know that the two is high, and in H2O the two is supposed to be low,” she told the outlet.
She added: "I was like, 'Well I'm always gonna need to be hydrated, so I guess I should just get H2O on my hand'.”
The 32-year-old shared that she received the tattoo during her stint on The Hunger Games alongside her co-star Liam Hemsworth.

And while many would be embarrassed by the epic tattoo fail, Lawrence maintains a sense of humour about it.
“I call this tattoo a watered-down rebellion because it's not like a real tattoo. It's the colour of a scar, all natural so it's literally the most unrebellious tattoo that anybody could ever get."
Lawrence has watered down herself in recent years, with the X-Men revealing to Vanity Fair in 2021 that she felt she had become ‘overexposed’ and felt everyone had gotten ‘sick of her’.
Lawrence told the outlet how ‘nervous’ she felt about doing press for her film Don’t Look Up following her marriage to Cooke Maroney and the birth of their son, Cy.

The actor also described how her last four films had been box office or critical disappointments.
She said: “I just think everybody had gotten sick of me. I’d gotten sick of me. It had just gotten to a point where I couldn’t do anything right.
"If I walked a red carpet, it was, ‘Why didn’t she run?’… I think that I was people-pleasing for the majority of my life. Working made me feel like nobody could be mad at me: ‘Okay, I said yes, we’re doing it. Nobody’s mad.'"
But thankfully for us, Lawrence will be returning to the big screen later this year in the coming-of-age drama, No Hard Feelings.

The film is set in New York and will follow Lawrence's character, who answers a Craigslist ad that a mother placed for someone to date her son (Andrew Barth Feldman) before he enters college.
It’s scheduled to be released June 23, 2023.
Hopefully she's well hydrated for it.
