John Barrowman has reportedly quit SAS: Who Dares Wins after just 30 minutes on the first day of filming.
The gruelling reality series sees contestants put through their paces in a number of physical tests, with the intense training course designed to replicate a number of elements that make up the selection course for the British Special Forces.
Last month, it was revealed that the civilian version of the show would be ‘rested’ so that execs could turn their focus to the celebrity off-shoot.

A spokesperson for Channel 4 said it was simply 'due to the huge success of Celebrity SAS'.
“We have shifted our focus to prioritise this strand," the spokesperson said.
"As a result, a longer run eight part series is due to commence filming in the summer whilst ‘Civilian’ SAS will be rested."

With the celeb version now believed to be filming, it’s believed one famous contestant has already packed the experience in.
According to The Sun, Doctor Who and Torchwood star John Barrowman, 56, started filming in New Zealand last week, but threw in the towel on the first day.
A source said: “John’s exit from Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins will go down in the show’s history as the fastest ever.
“They’d all got kitted up in their uniforms and had started filming in New Zealand when he chose to walk out.

“It is an incredibly mentally and physically challenging television show and the task they were facing was difficult.
“Most of the stars were shocked when after 30 minutes John said he did not want to take part any longer.
“He left pretty much then and there. It was all a bit strange and naturally, the producers who make the show weren’t best impressed to see one of their biggest stars turning on their heel and quitting before an hour was up.”

Other stars rumoured to be taking part in the new series include the likes of Rachel Johnson, Bianca Gascoigne, Marnie Simpson, Pete Wicks, Tez Ilyas, Ovie Soko, Georgia Harrison, Athony Ogogo, Cherry Healey, Chris Robshaw, Shazia Mirza and Ellie Downie.
However, the lineup has not yet officially been confirmed by Channel 4.
While the directing staff have also not been unveiled for the forthcoming series, season eight of the civilian show saw Jason Fox, Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver at the helm.
LADbible has reached out to Barrowman and Channel 4 for comment.
