Picture this: you're about to set off on a journey to a friend's house, a new job or an interstate holiday and you fire up your trusty GPS.

But, instead of the generic male or female voice that usually helps you where to go, you hear a unique, distinctive and utterly undeniable accent.

Michael Judson Berry has imagined what it would be like if we had Moira Rose's beautiful tones guiding us all over the world and it's not only bang on, but also hilarious.

The talented actor has uploaded a video to his TikTok account showing how he has nailed the Schitt's Creek character's tongue.

One person wrote: "I would pay good money for Moira to voice my GPS."

Another added: "This would make driving so much more fun."

Michael's impression included Moira singing her Schitt's Creek classic of 'Danny Boy' and imagined what she would be like giving directions with her peculiar and hilarious vocabulary.

His character says in the video: "No, no, I said 'right,' not 'straight'. Why must you be such a churlish ninnyhammer? Now we must reboot. Do you feel my directions are but trifle humbuggery? I'm not doing this for my health, you know. Ugh, the cheek!"

The video has received tens of thousands of likes and nearly 700,000 views since being uploaded earlier this week.

But Michael is no stranger to trying to impersonate Catherine O'Hara's incredible character from the beloved comedy TV show.

During lockdown last year, Michael launched QuaranTeaTime on social media and it involved him pretending to be Moira with all her brilliant idiosyncrasies.

Speaking to Huffington Post, Michael said: "My friends and I are SC fans...and I would do all characters, and I just consistently heard that my Moira was pretty good.

"I never really practiced [my impression]. I've just always had an ear for voices.

"I've gotten to connect with lots of really wonderful people from all over the world. And [I love] all of the fabulous new words I've learned, like floccinaucinihilipilification."

While we wait and hope that one day Catherine O'Hara lends her voice to a GPS company, we can at least soak up another actor's unmistakable accent for a different voice-led technology.

Amazon customers in the US can hear the Samuel L. Jackson's voice from the comfort of their own living room, as his dulcet tones have now been added as an option as part of Alexa's Celebrity Voice Progam, which launched on 12 December.

While his voice won't replace Alexa's altogether, it can be requested on demand - meaning to get things started you can summon Alexa and tell her: "Alexa, introduce me to Samuel L. Jackson."

Once the formalities are over, you can then get Alexa to ask Samuel if he has a favourite hobby, what it was like making Star Wars, or how he got the part of Nick Fury.
