Lily Allen could have ended up on Game of Thrones alongside her brother Alfie after she'd been offered a part early on in the show.
Alfie Allen was relatively unknown to most audiences when he was cast in HBO's massive fantasy series as Theon Greyjoy, the heir to the Iron Islands who frankly has a pretty awful time in Westeros.
His role really put him on the map as an actor and his career has gone onto further successes from there, starring in movies such as Jojo Rabbit and landing major roles on other TV shows like SAS: Rogue Heroes.

He even ended up getting nominated for Emmy awards for his performance in the show after submitting himself for consideration alongside co-stars Gwendoline Christie and Carice van Houten.
However, earlier on in the show's run he almost ended up being joined on screen by singing sister Lily, who was offered the role of his sister on Game of Thrones but ended up not taking it.
In the end she turned down the role because of a creepy moment of incest between Greyjoy siblings Theon and Yara.

It's actually the character's introduction to audiences and gets incestuous as Theon doesn't recognise his sister at first after so many years, so he starts fondling her on horseback.
This is cut short when Yara tells her brother who she really is, but not before plenty of really creepy stuff happens.
If Lily Allen had taken the role, she'd have had to act that scene out with her own brother, which would have been awkward as hell, so you can understand why she didn't want to do it.
Game of Thrones has plenty of incest, as does spin-off House of the Dragon, but asking two actors who are siblings in real life to act out the scenes is understandably uncomfortable.

She made the revelation in an 'ask me anything' on Reddit where fans asked about her song 'Alfie', a track she no longer sings out of respect for her brother as it's about him.
Lily wrote that she'd been 'asked to do a Game of Thrones cameo' and whether she'd 'be interested in playing Theon's sister', but felt uncomfortable as her brother would need to have 'touched me up and s**t' to play the scene.
Once she knew what the role would have meant her answer was a firm 'no thanks', with the role then going to Gemma Whelan.

Lily wasn't the only member of the family who almost ended up joining Alfie on Game of Thrones, as dad Keith says he could have been cast as Balon Greyjoy, meaning Alfie's real life dad and sister would have played those same family roles on the show.
However, he said he deliberately 'did a rubbish audition' as he thought the offer to play his own son's father was 'a bit cheesy, a bit obvious'.
