This year's Love Island is really starting to kick off. Fans were shocked last night as contestant Ekin Su abandoned her partner Davide, and secretly crawled over the terrace to meet with her sneaky link, brand new contestant Jay Younger.
Things started to get especially fiery when Davide then confronted Ekin Su and initiated the season’s first proper shouting match.
Nevertheless, fans are always thirsty for more drama, so the big question is, when is the whole villa going to get stirred up with the introduction of the infamous ‘Casa Amor’?
When Is Casa Amor 2022?
According to The Sun, a show insider has said that “Casa Amor is back and it is better and bigger than ever.” We’re not entirely certain of what this entails, but we are sure that the drama is gonna be taken to the next level with the introduction of ‘the house of love’.

The same source mentioned that “Producers will wait until everyone starts to get a little too comfortable before they throw a spanner in the works,” so with the drama unfolding at the moment we may need to wait a little while for the water to settle, before everything is tossed in the air and upset again.
Regarding what will happen this casa amor it’s been reported that “It’s still only early days but a number of Islanders have already shown how easily their heads can be turned, so everyone is excited that this could be the best Casa Amor yet.” So keep your eyes glued to the screen because this year is gonna be a big one.
Casa Amor usually takes place around the fourth week of the show. Looking at the last few years, it’s predicted that the event will probably take place around the 3rd July, however, this date is not for certain.
What Is Casa Amor?
Casa Amor is one of the most dramatic events which take place on Love Island. Every year, all the couples are separated, with one gender going to another villa and meeting a whole lot of new singletons. The same also happens in the original villa.

Over the next few days, the contestants start to get to know the new singles before making a choice whether to stick with their partner from the original villa or couple up with someone from Casa Amor
Casa Amor has often been the cause of some of Love Island’s most dramatic moments. For example, last year it led to the break up of star couple Millie and Liam. Nonetheless, they got back together and ended up winning the series.
