When two stars confirmed to go into I’m A Celeb camp late will be arriving in the jungle

When two stars confirmed to go into I’m A Celeb camp late will be arriving in the jungle

Two stars are joining late

While I’m A Celeb is now a few episodes in, the entire camp has not been filled out yet.

Two more stars are set to enter the jungle, and it has been confirmed when they will be arriving.

The two stars in question are Richard Coles, the radio DJ and Church of England minister, and Maura Higgins, the Love Island star and influencer.

The pair were both ‘announced’ in the initial leaked line-up, leading viewers to question whether the reports were wrong.

It has been confirmed, however, that the two are going into the jungle.

Higgins is the undeniable bigger name of the pair, having been a major player in Love Island season five in 2019.

She appeared on the same season as Tommy Fury and Molly Mae-Hague.

Fury was actually set to appear this season, with insiders confirming that his pulling out opened the door for Higgins to appear.

This late addition, however, meant that she already had plans for a brand trip, which an insider told The Daily Mail was always part of the plan.

They said: “She will be arriving this week, the brand trip was always part of the schedule as Maura had agreed to it and it fit into her arrival dates for the Jungle”.

The Daily Mail has confirmed that Cole and Higgins are both set to appear this week.

I’m a Celeb is already off to a good start this year, with Cole and Higgins set to join what many fans have been referring to as the best cast in years.

The camp received a fair amount of praise for their response to an emotional admission from boxing legend Barry McGuigan.

McGuigan said during a discussion around religion: ““I used to go to church a lot but after my daughter… you know, not so much,”

“She had leukaemia, when I was making The Boxer with Daniel Day Lewis, three weeks from the end I had to leave because she’d been diagnosed with leukaemia.

“They thought she wasn’t going to get better but she fought back and she won it. She had two years of chemo”.

McGuigan’s daughter Danika died aged 31 of bowel cancer after having survived leukaemia as a child.

The camp rallied around the former boxer after he burst into tears discussing it.

One fan tweeted after this: “Absolutely moving scenes in camp tonight. So brave of Barry to open up, share and let out all of those emotions, important reminder it’s okay not to be okay”.

Another said right after: “Probably most likeable cast in years”, while another said: “Loved how supportive the full camp was for Barry”.
