MrBeast is a YouTube star, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Now we know that YouTubers can make serious money, but MrBeast has an eye watering sum of cash in his bank account. Also known as Jimmy Donaldson, he likes to flash the cash in ways you might not expect.
If you’ve ever wondered if you’re in the wrong line of work, this revelation isn’t going to help matters. The social media star is worth an incredible $25 million (£20.7 million). Ouch! Earlier this year he became the highest-earning YouTuber in history.

You’ll be pleased to know though that he likes to do good with that money and doesn’t hoard it all to himself, and is known for his philanthropy and for giving away cars and helping people out where he can. It’s estimated that he makes a minimum of $3 million per month from his YouTube ads alone. That total is before any separate deals or branding too. It’s enough to make you green with envy.
He came from humble beginnings as an early adopter of the platform, and started posting videos to YouTube when he was 12 years old under the user name "MrBeast6000". He's gone on to make a name for himself filming stunts giving away large sums of money on his YouTube videos. He also earns megabucks from merchandise sales and sponsorships with brands like Electronic Arts and Microsoft. He was so successful with his YouTube channel that he dropped out of college.
This is no amateur hour with videos filmed on a potato phone, MrBeast is said to channel most of his earnings back into producing the next one. Each video is now thought to cost him around $300,000 to create.

Previous examples include giving money away to strangers, and in one case he adopted an entire shelter of rescue dogs. They would cost a lot to feed! However, as with any success story there can be a backlash and some people accused him of giving away fake money.
He has three main channels, called MrBeast, MrBeast Shorts and Beast Reacts.
In total, he has a combined follower count of 90 million+, making him the most-subscribed US-based YouTube creator across all of his platforms.

To date he has raised $20 million to plant 20 million trees, and has donated 100 cars to people in need and good causes. One of his most high-profile posts saw him give away £1 million in one video. Another viral video saw him spending 44 hours counting to 100,000. It has since been viewed more than 21 million times. MrBeast has also filmed himself reading the dictionary and the "Bee Movie" script. Whatever works, and it's clearly paying off for him.
