Fans of the Brit Awards don't sound best pleased with one of the features of tonight's awards ceremony.
Those watching at home were treated to the sight of a 'kiss cam' and it seems that the viewers are very much not down with this sort of thing as there was widespread backlash on social media.
One even said they 'might need to turn this naff show off', so the folks at home were wondering when they'd get this bit over with and start dishing out the awards.

Someone else said 'we are not in America' and as opening moments go it was really not popular with the viewing public.
Others thought it was a bit jarring for the Brit Awards to go from a cringeworthy kiss cam to having an awards speech mentioning the Post Office scandal.

"Kiss cam straight into post office scandal chat, 'you’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off', full throated criticism of the government in the first 10 minutes, am I on drugs," one viewer wrote of the opening minutes to 2024's Brit Awards.
Elsewhere people lamented that things 'get cringier every year' because of the kiss cam, so maybe next year it won't make a renewed appearance.
There's always going to be parts of awards ceremonies which are unpopular so maybe it's just a case of refining the formula as we go year by year.
Something to make a note of for next time, lads.

Speaking of refining the formula, the Brit Awards have doubled the size of some awards categories after no women were nominated for Artist of the Year in 2023.
The Brits said this move was 'aimed at improving representation and inclusion', while Dr Jo Twist OBE, chief executive of British Phonographic Industry, said: "We look forward to celebrating another brilliant year in music, and we are all working hard to deliver another memorable show that will promote the incredible breadth of British and international talent that we have seen flourish and succeed over the past twelve months.
"The Brits is committed to making the show as inclusive and representative as possible, the changes to this year’s categories are part of an ongoing process of evolution, and we will continue to review, listen and learn."
