Glastonbury is in full swing over at Worthy Farm with festival goers gearing up for another day of major music acts.
After the likes of Dua Lipa and Idles headlined stages last night (28 June), tonight (29 June) will see Coldplay take to the Pyramid Stage.
This will be the band’s first appearance on the main Glastonbury stage since 2016 and will also mark a moment in the festival’s history.

That’s because the ‘Viva La Vida’ stars are set to become the first act to headline the legendary event five times, overtaking The Cure.
Whether you love them or hate them, there’s no denying Coldplay have become one of the most successful UK bands of all time.
But resurfaced footage from more than 25 years ago shows frontman Chris Martin predicting just how big the band would be.
Coldplay formed back in the 90s and were originally called Big Fat Noises and then Starfish before becoming the group we know today.

And a clip previously played on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, from 26 June, 1998, shows the frontman standing in a field at his school’s - Wye Farming College - end of year ball.
Martin says: "Jon Buckland, Chris Martin, Will Champion and Guy Berryman Act of the Coldplay. They're going to go on to be such a huge band. This will be on national television within four years. Four years.
"By 26 June, 2002, Coldplay, the band, or whatever they're called then will be known, just all over man. We're going to be so big.
"Guy, Will, John and Chris. Don't you forget. Massive, absolutely huge."

And indeed, four years later, Coldplay headlined Glastonbury for the first time after having made their festival debut back in 1999.
Fans of the ‘Yellow’ band can't get enough of the resurfaced clip and Martin's surprising prediction for Coldplay.
One TikTok user wrote: "Gives me chills every time."

"Right mindset to have!!" another added.
A third commented: "God bless the band."
Although, another was busy making a great comparison: “He looks like Jeremy from Peep Show.”

"'We only survived because of other people'. Thank you, Chris Martin for saying this," a YouTube user wrote.
And a final resolved: "Dreams do come true for some."
Well, they certainly did, multiple times with their fifth Glastonbury headline slot set to go down in history. Chris Martin: Coldplay singer and fortune teller.
