The support acts for Oasis' shows across the UK and Ireland have definitely...well, maybe, been confirmed.
According to reports, the Gallagher brothers have locked in some Brit music icons to help them out on their Live '25 Tour, which is set to kick off in Cardiff in July next year - but don't take it as gospel just yet.
Noel, 57, and Liam, 52, are well known for their penchant to chop and change their plans as they go along, but sources claim that they have already booked two acts to warm up the crowd for them on their UK and Ireland gigs.

The Manchester rockers will head Half The World Away from their hometown for the tour next year, as they are set to perform in the US, South America, Asia and Australia too.
Fans on this side of the pond have reportedly been busily burying drugs in Heaton Park in preparation of the reunion tour already, so you can imagine that they're also keen to find out who will be on the bill alongside the Gallagher brothers.
There has been plenty of speculation so far, and a lot of fans thought that fellow rock band Blossoms might get the honour after they teased the Oasis announcement at a show in Wythenshawe Park back in August.

But according to the Independent, it's the former frontman of The Verve, Richard Ashcroft, and indie rock band Cast who will be taking to the stage in the UK and Ireland ahead of Noel and Liam.

The publication reported that an official announcement sharing the news is expected to go out next week.
If so, the Live '25 Tour really will be quite the reunion for the Gallaghers, as it will give them a chance to catch up with their pal Ashcroft, who they've both been friends with for decades.
The Wigan-born star even inspired Noel to write the 1995 song Cast No Shadow, which features on (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?.

Noel previously dubbed the 53-year-old singer a 'genius' and suggested that The Verve - who split in 2009 for the third time and have not reformed since - only weren't as successful as Oasis because 'circumstances worked against them'.
Last week, Liam took to X to seemingly tease the announcement in a post.

He wrote: "Just spoke to the CHEF here it is OASIS RICHARD ASHCROFT CAST you are welcome see you nxt year. [sic]. We never set sail without the 1 and only RICARDO he’s our boy from day DOT come aboard Rkid."
Britpop band Cast, on the other hand, is led by John Power, who was the bassist and backing vocalist for The La's from 1986 to 1991.
Like Oasis and The Verve, the Liverpool-born group were a big part of the music scene in the 90s.
Noel described compared watching Cast perform live to a 'religious experience' in a previous interview with the Daily Record, so it seems the Gallaghers have been very involved in selecting their support acts for the reunion tour.

Cast are supposedly going to perform first, before Ashcroft will then take to the stage ahead of Oasis, reports claim.
