Paramore fans are seriously alarmed after the band’s cryptic disappearance.
The ‘Misery Business’ group seem to have totally wiped their social media accounts and even deleted their website.
Currently formed of Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro, the American rock band have been around since 2004, with guitarist York joining in 2007.

With over 3.5million followers on Instagram, Paramore’s account currently has no display picture, no posts and just a link to a broken website. Williams has also wiped her account.
Some fans are speculating it’s the total end of the group, while others think it’s part of a common trend of artists wiping their social medias ahead of a big new release – hinting at the potential start of a whole new era.
A previous Instagram story post by the band cryptically read: “Now that Paramore has spent the year touring behind This Is Why (and making sure they take better care of themselves while they’re at it), a chapter of the band’s career has come to a close.

“They’ve now fulfilled all label obligations and are effectively free agents.
“As for the future of Paramore, all three members agreed that there’s a level of uncertainty.”
Well, that’s pretty mysterious.

Some other fans have also read it as the group simply marking the end of their contract with Atlantic Records - where Williams was signed as a solo artist - with the band signed to Fueled by Ramen, and maybe just moving on elsewhere.

In a recent interview with Uproxx, Williams said: “The only thing that matters is we will still get to be each other’s community.”
And Farro added: “I just hope we can keep building the Paramore empire and then rule the world.”
Plus, in a promising point for fans, the three were keen to ‘get back to making things’ after their sixth album release this year, with Williams revealing they’d been ‘back into a studio’.

Users speculated on Reddit: “It is likely the record company maintained those accounts. If they’ve terminated their contract, their record company doesn’t have to cover those anymore. If the band wants to have an online presence, they have to pay someone to do it or do it themselves.”
Another pointed out: “They still have contracted dates opening for Taylor Swift which I doubt they wouldn’t complete. It would be contractual hell.”
As one added: “They said at their last concert it was the end of their album era.”
And others said: “Would be a shame if the band split up. Their newest album was really good.”
