Sam Fender has announced a massive headline show in Manchester this summer and general sale tickets have officially gone on sale as of Friday morning (21 February).
To celebrate his upcoming album People Watching, released on Friday, the Geordie legend will take to the stage Wythenshawe Park on Saturday, August 16. Fans are sure to hear some of his biggest bangers too, from Seventeen Going Under and Spit of You to Wild Grey Ocean.
Following the announcement of huge sell-out stadium shows in Newcastle and London, Fender has added two new August shows to his UK tour in addition to the Manchester gig: Edinburgh’s Summer Sessions at the Royal Highland Showgrounds, and Belfast’s VITAL series at the Boucher Road Playing Fields.

And as if that wasn't enough to send ticket sales skyrocketing, the Brit winner will be supported by none other than neo soul songstress Olivia Dean in Manchester and Edinburgh with CMAT taking over in Belfast.

Much to the delight of fans, he has announced a string of new outdoor shows, and you have time to get saving. The first of the new shows will be held in Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park on August 16.
He’ll then head up to the Royal Highland Showgrounds in Edinburgh for a gig on August 22. A week later, Fender will headline the VITAL Festival at Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast.
The news comes after Fender was forced to postpone the final leg of his UK arena tour last year, due to damaging his vocal cords. In a statement, the singer said: "This has been the best tour so far and all I want to do is get up and sing again for you all tonight."
