Netflix fans are in for a treat as the streamer has confirmed not one, but two more seasons of a show that’s achieved a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
We are, of course, talking about Heartstopper – the stunning LGBTQ+ drama hailed as the most important British show since last year's It's a Sin. Watch the trailer below:
Fans have been raving about season one since it dropped last month, with many calling on Netflix to give it a second run.

And thankfully they didn’t have to wait long, as the streamer revealed today that they’ve given the green light to two more instalments.
Once again, the author and illustrator of the graphic novel the show is based on - Alice Oseman - is attached as writer and creator.
Netflix also shared a few fun facts about season one since it debuted, including that Heartstopper book sales in the US have increased 1700 percent.
Over on TikTok, #heartstopper has amassed a whopping 4.3 billion views, and the series has reached Netflix’s Top Ten list in 54 countries.

And then there’s the fact that it’s been given a perfect 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.
If you haven’t had the chance to see it yet, the plot follows gentle teen Charlie (Joe Locke) and rugby-loving Nick (Kit Connor) as they discover their unlikely friendship is blossoming into something more.
Per the official synopsis: "Charlie, Nick, and their circle of friends must navigate the ever-relatable journey of self discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves."

Viewers continue to sing the show’s praises on social media, with one writing: "Just finished the Heartstopper live action Netflix show. IT'S SO GOOD OMG THE CASTING IS PERFECT!!"
Another tweeted: "I haven't stopped sobbing since I finished the series, is this why they call it Heartstopper?"
Just days after it debuted, there was demand for a second season - and thankfully Netflix were swift in answering their prayers.

Locke shared the news on his Instagram account, where he’s amassed a whopping 2.6 million followers since the series dropped.
Alongside a few pictures of the cast and crew holding up two fingers, he wrote: “HOW MANY MORE SEASONS???”
The star also spoke about the reaction to season one in a recent interview with Digital Spy, stating: "It's been great. It's been overwhelming in a good way.

"They're all so supportive. It cushions out the overwhelmingness of it, just how lovely everyone is."
Connor added: "Yeah. It's been so, so supportive, and overly positive. And I think that's one of the great things.
“By the nature of it being a graphic novel series, we had that amazing fanbase kind of translate over to us. They've all got such a passion about these characters."
