Netflix’s number one movie and series in the world right now both star the same actor.
Richard Armitage’s face seems to be popping up all over the streaming site right now – and viewers just can’t get enough of those blue eyes.
Even if he is in some rather creepy stuff.

Both of The Hobbit star’s roles in these two projects have viewers on the edge of their seats with different disturbing themes.
Dominating the top 10 TV series on Netflix is the latest Harlan Coben adaptation, which also features Michelle Keegan, Joanna Lumley and Adeel Akhtar.

Fool Me Once landed on the streaming site on New Year’s Day and viewers have quickly taken to binging it.
The Netflix synopsis for the new series reads: “Fool Me Once follows Maya Stern (Keegan) who is trying to come to terms with the brutal murder of her husband, Joe (Armitage).
“But when Maya installs a nanny-cam to keep an eye on her young daughter, she is shocked to see a man she recognises in her house. Her husband, who she thought was dead...

“Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce (Akhtar) leads the homicide investigation into Joe's death while grappling with secrets of his own.

Viewers have called the series – which is Armitage’s third Harlan Coben show – ‘perfection’ and said it’s ‘up there with the best series I’ve ever watched’.

But if you’re after more of a horror than a thriller, the 52-year-old actor’s role in The Lodge is also trending on Netflix.
The film was originally released back in 2019 but landed on the site recently - with even one of the writers warning viewers about how dark it is.
Sergio Casci welcomed the movie being ‘finally available on Netflix UK’ before telling his followers: “Warning – it’s very dark.”

The synopsis for The Lodge reads: “A soon-to-be stepmom is snowed in with her fiancé's two children at a remote holiday village.
"Just as relations begin to thaw between the trio, some strange and frightening events take place.”
Viewers call it ‘so creepy’ and ‘nastily unsettling’ as well as labelling it a ‘really dark, scary and sad movie’.
And if you don’t fancy either of those, you can catch Armitage in the likes of The Hobbit, Hannibal and Spooks.
