Good news Suits fans, there is hope for a reunion movie! But not everyone is too convinced by the idea.
The beloved lawyer show has seen a resurgence in recent years, finding a second life on Netflix.
With the final season being added to the streamer in the US soon (tough luck Americans, we’ve had it for months), chatter about a return from the show’s biggest stars has been fluttering about.
The stars of the show have confirmed they don’t even have Meghan Markle’s number, and her having told Variety in 2022 she isn’t planning on acting ever again – so it’s fair to say there’s one name that isn’t set to come back.

Patrick J Adams, who played main character Mike Ross, however, refused to rule out the possibility of the stars all coming back for a film.
Speaking at a reunion panel this past Sunday, June 2, Adams said he believed it was possible a reunion film could be on the cards.
He said: “I am a person of no power or authority, but obviously, there’s a Suits: LA show that is being made. That is the focus of Aaron [Korsh, the shows creator], I think he would agree.

“But it’s definitely something he’s interested in doing, in trying to get the band back together.
“So it depends on a million things if that can happen, but is it possible? I think it is possible.”
The show’s LA spin-off is in the works, with Stephen Amell set to play the lead role.
Fans were mixed in their reactions to the possible film follow up.

Responding to the news on X (formerly known as Twitter), one fan replied: “Naaaaah leave it, let it sleep.
“A movie doesn't work for this brand anyway, it's a long story game Suits, not two hours starting a new story and finishing it.”
Another was interested in the idea, but with one important clarification.

They said: “Don’t give me hope but more importantly don’t f*ck it up.”
Some fans, however, see the movie as a potential to address the show’s biggest weakness - it’s final season.
The show did the best it could, but Patrick J Adams and Meghan Markle leaving left a massive hole in the middle of the show that was struggle to be filled.
Whilst Adams returned for a few episodes, including the finale, the show went out with a whimper rather than a bang.

Other popular shows such as Sense8, Downton Abbey, and Psych, have decided to bring the cast back for a film after the show ended, all of which are successes – and so if the cast are in, surely Suits is next.
