People urged to watch Avengers: Endgame from exactly 21:29 on New Year’s Eve

If you're really bored on New Year's Eve and looking for a bit of fun then be sure to watch Avengers: Endgame from exactly 21:29.

Watch below to find out why:

NYE can be a bit of a let-down - speaking from experience.

Attending random parties and attempting to talk to people over excruciatingly loud music is no longer my idea of fun.

Staying at home with the family, alongside a Chinese takeaway, while watching London's firework display on the telly, is definitely my preference.

Yes I am a 28-year-old, living in the body of a 50-year-old.

Anyway, if you're a fan of the Avengers movies and you've got nothing else to do on NYE, then this one might be for you.

Marvel fans have been advised to watch Avengers: Endgame from exactly 21:29 on New Year's Eve.
Disney

Avengers: Endgame is full of memorable moments from Iron Man's death (spoiler alert) to witnessing Chris Hemsworth's Thor with a beer belly.

The Marvel movie follows the aftermath of Thanos, an intergalactic warlord, who disintegrates half of the universe as the Avengers must reunite and assemble again restore balance.

Now, if you're still with me, make sure you tune into the film at exactly 21:29 on New Year’s Eve.

You're in for a treat.

TikToker JBuck (@jbuckstudios) explained in a video posted in 2021: "It is New Year's Eve and here are some movies that I think are fun to watch to time perfectly to the New Year midnight.

"First up we have Avengers: Endgame and if you start this movie at 9:29:30, Iron Man will snap exactly at midnight."

The reason why the snap is significant is because it was designed to target and eliminate Thanos and his army.

With the technology integrated into Iron Man's suit, it allowed him to specify the targets of the snap, ensuring that only those involved in the battle were affected.

And although Thanos thought he had the upper hand, Iron Man secretly took the Infinity Stones to perform the snap, which wiped the Mad Titan and his army from Earth - but sadly ended his own life.

Taking to the comments section, viewers complained that they wish they saw the video sooner.

"I wish I saw this video before now," one TikTok user said, as another added: "Thanks could've told me earlier."

In terms of other movies to try this with, JBuck said: "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, obviously a crowd favourite, if you start this movie at 10:36:23, Miles will take the leap of faith exactly at midnight.

"And Grease 2 if you start this movie at 11:46:31, a guy will jump over a hurdle and then his balls will fall out of his shorts. Happy New Year everyone."

You're on your own with that last one.
