A British comedian has gone viral on TikTok after his 'brilliant' response to being heckled by a member of the front row audience who refused to take his feet off of the stage.
Heckling happens at gigs up and down the country on a constant basis, with the issue recently brought to light through on the biggest stage as Peter Kay continues his comeback tour up and down the country.
Removing people from one of his Manchester gigs for shouting out during his set, he caused headlines after comparing one of them to comedian and actress Lisa Riley.

And over in the USA, one stand up gig from comedian Natalie Cuomo saw her lose her patience with one heckler before exposing him via text messages.

Now, it's all eyes on Peterborough in the UK after another incident of audience members causing issues for those just trying to do their job and deliver a polished show for paying customers.
The gig took place at Key Theatre in the Cambridgeshire city, with comedian Eric Rushton taking to the stage to make the crowd laugh.

But the performance was marred by one guest on the front row who decided it was okay to stick his legs up on the stage, as if it were a footstool in his living room. And the best bit was it was all caught on video before being posted to TikTok.
"I love this guy, just chilling out, legs on the stage, he couldn't give a f**k," Eric said before wryly saying: "Get them down, now."

With his request falling on deaf ears, Eric joked: "OK, I have no authority. He's carried on with it."

At this point Eric walks over to the man and tries to playfully kick his feet down off of the stage. In a clip from Eric overlayed on the gig video, the comedian says: "His feet have remained planted and he's just staring at me. He's this middle aged man and he looks scary as f**k."
Cutting back to the gig and what happened, Eric can be heard saying he has 'never really encountered this kind of stubbornness before', before asking the man: "Can I just get a check on what your thought process is here?"
The audience member stays silent in a continued bizarre take on the incident.

"OK... good banter," Eric says. "I think I've established my authority in the room."
Asking what the man's name is and what he does, the man simply says: "Wayne. Sparky."
Playfully taking the p*ss out of him, Eric says: "Have you ever spoken in more than one word at a time before?"
As the gig continued, the comedian asks the audience if anyone was in love in the room, saying he 'expected silence coming from Wayne's direction'.

"He chats them in to bed my man does, with those one word answers," Eric jokes.
"Sparky, Wayne. Mine. Now."
Ending the clip to solid applause, Eric asks Wayne: "Is it hard for you to have sex because obviously your feet need to be elevated at all times?"
TikTok loved it just as much as the audience, with one viewer commenting: "Great job mate, what was Wayne’s reaction when you was making fun of him at the end? Was his face still serious or was he laughing?"
One person, who was in the audience, wrote: "I was there! Enjoyed your set. The arrogance of Wayne was pretty breathtaking, he didn’t strike me as a regular theatre-goer."
And someone else posted: "Last line was incredible!"
Feet down and avoid the roast next time, Wayne.
