One of the creators of Brassic says he is shocked they were able to film his ‘Hollywood’ ending to season six.
The newest season, which released just last week on demand, will see the continued story of the Hawley gang.
For those living under a rock, Brassic follows a group of Northern lads from the fictional town of Hawley as they go about their crime-filled lives.
Starring Michelle Keegan, Joe Gilgun (who is also a co-creator) and Ryan Sampson, the show is a beloved British comedy.

While they had already developed a cult following on Sky, seasons one to four released on Netflix about five weeks ago, opening the show up to an even wider audience.
Five weeks on and it still remains in the top 10 at the time of writing, having spent over a week as the top show on the streamer.
We recently spoke exclusively to writer Danny Brocklehurst, the co-creator of Brassic alongside Gilgun.

We asked about writing the show and whether he ever worries what he writes will be able to be filmed, and he gave a very interesting reveal about the season six finale.
He said: “The way series six ends, I'm not going to reveal it obviously, is huge, and Hollywood movie stuff.
“You know, so that was a challenge. I really did not understand how they were going to do it.
“But when I pitched it verbally, everybody just kept saying, 'Yes, we can make it happen'. And I was like, 'good luck'.”

Season six’s finale was a huge cliffhanger, with one viewer tweeting: “I’ve somehow binge watched all six episodes in season 6 of Brassic. And for f*ck sake talk about a cliffhanger, now I have to wait for season 7."
Another fan said: “How can season 6 of brassic end like that?!! I want season 7 now!!”
He went on to say that while Brassic season six still has a lot of the same Brassic humour, it gets deeper into the characters this time.

He said: “It's an interesting one series six, becauseI think it's a fraction more emotional perhaps than some of the other series.
“But there are also a lot of big, crazy laughs and usual stupidity.”
He went on to say: “I think actually, this year is more interesting in a way, because we've sort of challenged the perception of the characters a bit.
“So, I've done a kind of love story for Jim. We meet Cardi's mother, and we sort of realize why he is the way he is."
