The cast for the first Traitors UK spin-off, Celebrity Traitors, has been announced and the BBC have had to introduce special measures during filming.
The cast was announced yesterday via The Mirror, with the highlights including Joe Marler, Paloma Faith, Alan Carr, Lucy Beamount, and Niko Omilana.
This was announced in part because filming has began for the celeb-focused spin-off.
What special measures have been put in place by the BBC?
Trying to keep the announcement of the cast secret as long as they could, the BBC turned to extreme methods to try and keep who was appearing on Celebrity Traitors under wraps.

Per The Sun, this included a ‘military-style operation’ to transport the cast to the castle in Inverness to film the show. Rather than having the cast fly to Inverness Airport, they have reportedly been transported via rail, air, car, and boat.
In further moves to try to keep the twists secret, as well as preventing the cast from leaking prior to filming beginning yesterday, the BBC have even instituted a ‘no-fly zone’ over the castle. This is in place to try and stop paparazzi from getting pictures using drones.

A source told The Sun: “For a show with secrecy and shocking plot twists at its heart, navigating the celebrity version has been a real puzzler.
“Casting the likes of TV presenter Kate Garraway, former rugby star Joe Marler and singer Paloma Faith creates a situation which is a lot more open to leaks and gossip than recruiting a call centre manager from Liverpool or a retired opera singer.

"So execs have worked really hard to lock down every inch of the production. Instead of a simple travel process which could be open to leaks, celebrities will all arrive via various methods of transport.
“And there’s a no-fly zone already in place over Ardross Castle and the surrounding area to stop any preparations being snapped, or any of the action during filming. Preserving the magic of the show has become an obsession.”
Who is in the full cast for Celebrity Traitors?
The full cast list has been widely regarded as one of the most high profile groups of celebrities put together for a reality show.
Covering multiple age ranges, professions, and having a fairly even split of gender, there should be a celeb for anyone who watches a bit of TV (or in the case of one or two, YouTube and TikTok).

There was also disappointment amongst fans after Bob Mortimer was left out of some online lists.

Whilst The Mirror reported the comedian as being part of the cast, The Sun left him out, leaving fans to question if he will appear.
