Last night's episode of Virgin Island saw three participants losing their virginity, and it left some viewers feeling emotional.
The second series of the Channel 4 show saw 12 adult virgins jetting out to a Croatian island where they worked through their intimacy anxieties with the help of sex therapists, including Doctor Danielle Harel, Celeste Hirschmann and BDSM expert Shelby Devlin.
The series kicked off back in April and drew to a close last night with two back-to-back episodes.

Across the two episodes, viewers got to see participants Alex, Bertie, Callum, Ed, Ellen, Jason, Joy, Katie, Marianne, Millie, Tegan, and Will at the very end of their Virgin Island journey.

And it was a very happy ending for three of those, with Katie and Callum deciding to have sex with each other and Marianne having sex with surrogate partner Andre.
In one scene, Callum and Katie could be seen heading off to a tent before later emerging and revealing that they were no longer virgins.
At home, viewers were delighted for this year's participants and remarked on just how far they'd come during their time on the show.
One wrote: “It’s actually so impressive how much they’ve all progressed in 15 days! I hope any of them who need therapy/help with any of the things they’ve talked about going forwards are able to get that.
“Feel super proud of them. This show really isn’t just about sex at all.”
“Bertie making the nation proud and in floods of tears,” someone else said.
“Aw, way to go Katie and Callum,” a third commented.
Even contestant Bertie got involved, sharing his own thoughts about the show.

“Greatest experience of my entire life. Thanks for watching,” he wrote.
Earlier in the series, we’d already seen 25-year-old Tegan lose her virginity to Risdon Roberts.
Speaking to LADbible about how life has been since she appeared on the show, Tegan revealed she hadn’t had sex with anyone else just yet but has been on a few dates.
“I haven't had sex again, not yet,” she said.
“That wasn't really my goal as such, I didn't really have a set goal but I thought I'm gonna leave myself open to the possibility and the opportunities that come across.”
And Joy and Alex also got intimate, becoming the first couple in the show's history to take the leap with each other rather than a surrogate partner.
