Fans have been left buzzing after watching David Tennant return for a special episode of Doctor Who.
The Scotsman, 52, will be climbing back inside the tardis and dusting off his sonic screwdriver to revive his role as the Doctor.
An exclusive preview was shared ahead of Children in Need featuring him, which sent fans of the hit show wild.

The BBC then confirmed that Tennant - who played the 10th incarnation of the Doctor back in 2005 - would be starring in Doctor Who as part of the charity telethon.
Tonight (17 November), fans got to watch him star as the 14th Doctor who shares an encounter with a 'mysterious' new character - aka comedian Mawaan Rizwan.
Tennant then uncovers an 'age old mystery involving one of his oldest foes'... but we will leave it there and not share any more spoilers in case you haven't watched it yet.
Viewers were also treated to a glimpse of what went on behind-the-scenes.

The actor said: "Every year that I was on Doctor Who we did something for BBC Children in Need, so it only feels right to be doing something this year.
"Children in Need is a national tradition, it’s certainly a BBC tradition, and Doctor Who is part of that. I’m so glad we’re able to give Children in Need viewers this little extra treat."
Fans are thrilled that he is headed on another adventure tonight and took to social media to share their joy.

Tennant will be back on our screens in his signature overcoat very soon - for the show’s 60th Anniversary specials.
He will star as the Time Lord in another three episodes, which will be released later this month and in December.
The first one will drop on BBC One at 6.30pm on 25 November, so have your snacks at the ready. The second will then come out on 2 December, before the third and final episode arrives on 9 December.
The dose of Doctor Who we've all been waiting for is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the show.
