There are some shows on British telly that it’s almost hard to imagine a world without.
Where would we all be without Simon Cowell being accused of ‘a fix’ on Britain’s Got Talent? Or without being able to get emotional each time there’s another season of Race Across the World? OK, probably absolutely fine in reality.
But still, shows like Gogglebox are just such staple we never want them to end.

The Channel 4 show might have just wrapped up for another season but there’s always episodes to rewatch as it’s been on for so long.
And while viewers might feel like they personally know the TV comfort’s longest-serving sofa critics, it seems like there’s still plenty to learn.
That’s because Gogglebox fans have been left stunned after finding out Jenny Newby’s real age.

She has been on the show with her best mate Lee Riley since back in 2014, watching the TV each week in his caravan home.
Earlier this week, Lee took to Instagram with a throwback snap of the pair to celebrate her birthday.
“How many years ago was this picture wow,” he wrote as Jenny looks rather unrecognisable.
The TV star continued: “Wishing my best friend Jenny a happy 69th birthday, much love always, Lee.”

And as fans flooded the comments to share their own birthday wishes to the professional TV watcher, plenty expressed their shock at her age.
“Happy birthday Jenny…no way are you 69,” one wrote in disbelief.
Another echoed: “Happy birthday, didn’t think you were that old you look amazing.”

Others even wondered if her best friend was just lying about her age as they put: “Happy birthday Jenny. Can't believe your 69, is it Lee taking the P?”
Someone else also commented: “Jenny... you don't look a day over 50!!!!”
Plenty even said Jenny looks even ‘younger’ nowadays as others begged her to ‘never leave’ Gogglebox.

Viewers were recently left ‘absolutely bawling’ while watching the show as Jenny got very teary watching a snippet of The Piano.
During the show, 80-year-old Duncan took to the instrument at Waterloo Station, announcing he was dedicating the performance to his wife Fran.
The man suffers from dementia and as his partner spoke of his condition, Jenny was extremely moved.
"I'm sorry, I can't," she said before she put her head into her hands while overcome by emotion.
