I’m A Celeb fans claim to be baffled after hearing what upcoming campmate Jamie Lynn Spears is ‘best known for’.
In case you missed it, Jamie Lynn, 32, is one of a brand new batch of celebrities set to appear in the new series - you can see what she had to say about that here:
Jamie Lynn, who has been pictured in her I’m A Celeb gear for the first time today, will be joining a host of other stars including Fred Sirieix, Nella Rose, Tony Bellew, Nigel Farage, Josie Gibson, Nick Pickard, Danielle Harold, Sam Thompson, Marvin Humes and Grace Dent when the show kicks off on Sunday (19 November).

However, fans were left scratching their heads after Jamie Lynn said she was ‘best known' for.
In a clip ahead of the new series, the campmates all introduced themselves, with Jamie Lynn saying: “I’m best known for being an actress and a singer.
"I have been doing it since I could basically walk.”

But while Jamie Lynn is well known for being an actor and singer - playing the lead role in Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 as well as Noreen Fitzgibbons in the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias, while also releasing a handful of singles - it seems as though some folks reckon she’s actually best known for being the younger sister of Britney Spears. Ouch.
Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “How’s Jamie Lynn Spears kept a straight face when explaining what she’s best known for.”
Another commented: “OK Jamie Lynn, but is that *really* what you’re best known for?”
While a third said: “Jamie Lynn Spears saying she’s best known for being an actress and a singer? Oh how I laughed.”

Someone else wrote: “‘I’m best known for being an actress and a singer’, you’re really not though.”
Explaining why she decided to go into the jungle, Jamie Lynn said: “There is literally every misconception you can have on a person about me so I don’t take any of it seriously.
“But I do think going on I’m A Celebrity will be a nice way for people to see the real me. This is an opportunity to be myself and do something really cool and have some awesome experiences in the meantime.”

Jamie Lynn also admitted that she’s ‘scared of everything’, which probably doesn’t put her in good stead for the show.
Opening up about potentially facing trials, she added: “Absolutely every one of these trials I am dreading. I haven’t looked at any of them and thought, ‘Oh cool, I could do that one’.”
You can find out how she fares for yourself when I’m A Celeb launches Sunday 19 November on ITV at 9pm.
