The 1% Club is notorious for its tough questions, but one particular round in Saturday (29 March) night's show has really rubbed people up the wrong way.
Viewers have been left exasperated after watching a contestant on the ITV game show opt to walk away from a £94,000 payday - only for her to get the final question right.
But even host Lee Mack reckoned the player made the right call, as he pointed out that you never know 'how difficult these questions can be' at that stage in the game.

Still, the comedian's commiserations probably did little to bring poor Sara any solace after she opted to play it safe rather than gamble for the jackpot.
For those who don't know, The 1% Club revolves around questions which force contestants to rely on 'logic and common sense' rather than general knowledge.

At the start of the IQ test-style show, 100 players have the opportunity to win some cash by answering questions which become increasingly difficult.
Those who manage to get through the different levels then have a chance of winning a share of up to £100,000 if they correctly answer a question which only 1 per cent of the general public got right.
Or, like Sara should have in hindsight, they can go for gold and attempt to answer this final question - although it is likely to be extremely difficult.
On Saturday night's episode of The 1% Club, people watched Sara and fellow finalist Rhia turn off their lights to indicate that they were willing to split £10,000 rather than risk having a go at the final question for £94,000.

"I wanted to not go home empty handed, for my own pride," Sara told Lee when he asked why she had decided to play it safe.
But for the fun of it, Sara and Rhia still got the chance to answer the question in 30 seconds and see whether they should have taken the gamble.
The confusing question was: "Yolande takes one tablet on every day of the week that has three vowels in total in it. She starts this pack on 2nd March. What date will she need to start a new pack?"

When their time was up, Rhia announced she was taking a stab in the dark and answering 23rd March, while Sara said: "I would have said the 26th, Tuesday the 26th."

Turns out, Sara was spot on - meaning she could have taken a whopping £94,000 home if only she had tried her luck.
The answer was 26th March, because Yolande had ten tablets to take in total - which needed to be consumed every Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Even Lee admitted he was left confused by the riddle, while he then reassured Sara that he believed she had made the right call anyway.
"Sorry, you would have got it right," he said. "You never know though, you never know what the question is going to be, so I still think you did the right thing given how difficult these questions can be."
Social media users were in firm agreement as a host of viewers took to X to share their thoughts on the bizarre final question.

One joked: "Which maniac put together these mind-bending questions this evening?"
Another confessed: "Couldn’t get it in time. Started with the days and vowels but then I saw the tablets."
A third added: "I worked out how it’s just Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday but somehow counted 12 tablets and said 30th. FML."
A fourth chimed in saying: "I didn't get it in the time available."

And a fifth commented: "26th but a hell of a lot to work out in 30 seconds!"
