One of the staff members who quit Jeremy Clarkson's pub after raising serious issues about the way it was run has spoken out following the backlash they received online.
The reality of reality TV is that the cameras and directors can often choose exactly the way they want to portray you and Sue and Rachel Hawkins seem to believe they were given the role of 'villains' in the latest series of Clarkson's Farm.
What happened with The Farmer's Dog?
The former Top Gear star endured a rather disastrous opening of The Farmer's Dog pub last year, with pub consultants Rachel and Sue pointing out that they simply didn't have the facilities to open so soon, so they didn't even stick around long enough to complain about the price of the roast dinner.

The pub, which was recently added to an undesirable list, has been slammed for its prices, something which Clarkson admitted he thought up using AI, while staff were also seriously struggling when it first opened in the summer of 2024.
Why did Rachel and Sue quit?
Rachel said of the pub: “This building is not really fit for purpose. There are too many issues for us to run a successful business from this site, with failing water, no toilets, no gas, leaking roofs, and struggling staff.”
Sue added to this, saying: “Everyone is exhausted. Even when we say: 'Go for a break', there's no staffroom.

“They're weeing in a porta-loo. It's not lovely conditions. They love you and they love working here because of that.
“They're excited about the British food, and everything this pub is, they want to get behind it... But they're working 14-hour days.”
How have they and Jeremy Clarkson responded?
While some fans of the show have directed online abuse at Sue and Rachel, many have rushed to their defence, and it seems even Clarkson himself has admitted that it was a 'disaster' to open the pub in the way that they did.
Although both staff members have signed a strict NDA that means they cannot say too much about their time on the show, Rachel has defended their actions in a recent interview.

Asked if the Amazon Prime programme had been edited in 'a bad light to make better TV', she told MailOnline: “It seems to be the way, doesn't it?”
“It's a shame it was us, but it is what it is - we will keep a smile on our face, and keep our chin up.”

Rachel added: “I cannot really say anything else because of the show. There is indeed an NDA in place.
“I think it is best to not say anything further. I don't want to get myself into trouble. I don't want to inflame anything.”
But a close friend, who wasn't limited by the NDA, claimed: “She feels that she's been stitched up a bit.
“The filming and editing of the show has put Rachel and Sue in a bad light when they were giving Jeremy sensible advice based on their vast experience in the hospitality industry.”
