John Connors has shared an update on a crime drama dubbed the 'greatest Irish TV show' of all time - but there's a bit of a twist.
Spoiler alert, it's not Kin.
Love/Hate, which originally aired from 2010 to 2014, takes a unique look at the organised crime scene in Dublin.

The RTE series became popular in lockdown 2020, as the series was subsequently released on streaming platforms such as Netflix.
"Yes it is coming back. It's going into production later this year," Connors, who plays Patrick Ward, told Virgin Media host Brian Dowling.
"Yes, it will be out next year. It's an exclusive but I wasn't meant to say it till tomorrow.

"I'm being serious, hand on my heart."
Connors says it won't be aired on RTE

After the interview, RTE confirmed in a statement: "There are no plans for a new series of Love/Hate. Fans can watch all five series on RTE Player."

However, Connors has since shared a video on his Instagram saying that the series will, instead, air on Netflix.
He said: "It's not on RTÉ, it's on Netflix. They're bringing it back a bit like what they did with Top Boy."
The actor claims season six and season seven will be released on the platform.
LADbible Group has contacted Netflix for comment.
What is Love/Hate about?
At the centre of the series is Darren Treacy, who is returning to the city after hiding out in Spain to avoid the Garda.

On his return to Ireland, Treacy finds out that his brother Robbie has been shot dead by a rival gang, and that his ex-girlfriend Rosie has moved on.
The drive-by shooting sparks a war within the community, and Darren, along with his gang, are consumed by vengeance.
As Robert Sheehan takes on the role of Darren, Avengers actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor stars as Nidge and Saltburn's Barry Keoghan plays Wayne, a baby-faced teenage gangster.

Keoghan's character was responsible for the controversial opening scene in Love/Hate when Wayne brutally shoots down a cat, then laughs about it afterwards.
Years later, Keoghan told The Mirror: "I’ll never get away from that cat.
"I was in the MetLife stadium in New Jersey about two years ago. I think there was about 90,000 people there and someone pulled me and said, 'You’re the guy that shot the cat'.
"I just thought, 'Ah here, I’m halfway across the world and someone said it'."
Keoghan insisted he is 'not like that in real life', which is always good to hear.
Love/Hate is available to watch for free now on ITVX.
