The adopted girl who was accused of posing as a six-year-old while an adult has provided an update after finding out her real age.
Ukrainian-born Natalia Grace - who has a rare genetic disorder - was adopted by husband and wife Kristine and Michael Barnett from Indiana back in 2010.
The Barnett family claimed she was an 'adult sociopath masquerading as a child' who had allegedly made several attempts to kill them.

After the couple deserted Natalia in an apartment in Layfette, Indiana in 2013 and moved to Canada, authorities pushed 'neglect charges' onto both of them, which were later dropped.
Natalia has continuously denied all of the allegations made against her.
A newly released documentary - The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks - is a follow-up from the previous show, and focuses on Natalia's perspective.

The Investigation Discovery (ID) special shows her visit an age specialist from TruDiagnostics.
She undergoes various medical and diagnostic tests to confirm her true biological age - potentially giving us the answer we’ve all been itching for.
“I've known the truth for as long as I can remember, that I was a kid,” she said.
“I just want people to really see the truth about my age.”

Now, according Dr Halland Chen, the tests concluded that Grace was in fact a child when she was adopted by the Barnett family.
The blood test, conducted in August 2023, revealed that she is approximately 22 years old - which suggests she was seven-years-old when she was adopted.
“This one little piece of paper throws every single lie that the Barnetts has said right into the trash with a match,” she said

"This is so big. Because literally, this has been 13 years of just two people lying their butts off. They ruined a kid’s life. They painted [me] as some big monster."
“It just proves that I was not lying about my age," she continued.
"They ignored everything that was pointing to the truth just so they could create this stupid lie."
