Piers Morgan has hit back after being booed by crowds and failing to win his award.
Wherever there’s a Piers, there’s always going to be a bit of drama, are we right?

Piers, 58, was nominated for his TV interview show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, but lost the award to the Graham Norton Show.
Host of the NTA’s, Joel Dommett, took time to introduce to fans that Piers was in the house, that was before quickly mocking him and evoking a mixture of booing and cheering from the crowd.
Let’s just say the reaction from the arena wasn’t quite the one Piers had hoped for, or maybe it was, you can never tell with this guy.

Joel said: “Piers Morgan is here!”
Before quickly adding: “Hey, everyone, say what you like about Piers Morgan...”
And that was the end of his sentence, jokingly trailing off to introduce Louis Theroux.
Whilst celebs at the awards show rocked up in blacked-out taxis and with private chauffeurs, Piers made no secret of the fact he came to the NTA’s on the tube.

In his tweet responding to the evening, he said: “Got the Tube in searing heat..
“Got mocked by a host I’ve never heard of…
“Got booed by an audience of shrieking banshees…
“Got beaten by Graham bloody Norton..

“And now getting the first limo I can find to get the hell outta here.
“Thanks for a great night NTA’s”
In his first tweet, making everyone aware about his journey to the award show, he said: “On my way to the NTA’s - my first time on the tube for 30+ years.

"Hasn’t got any cooler has it?"
Although there was a clear amount of hate in the room for Piers, he said that he could hear a lot more cheering than booing.
And his son, Spencer, gave the haters a heads-up, saying: “Trust me this isn’t the way to get to him.
“He lives for this!”
Somewhere within us that really didn’t come as a great shock.
Norton won the TV interviews category for his BBC One chat show, in his virtual speech from across the pond he joked: “Finally I won a National Television Award and I’m not there!
“This award means so much, mostly it means that Ant and Dec don’t have a talk show... yet.”
