A cocktail is the perfect way to wash a day with Jimmy Carr away, according to the TV chef whose cooking segment featured the comedian.
Clodagh McKenna, 48, reassured concerned This Morning viewers that she was all good after the comedian was accused of making as mockery of her method of making 'three delicious dishes' out of just one chicken.
Carr's appearance on daytime TV on Friday (3 May) didn't go down well with fans of the show, as people slammed the 51-year-old for being 'rude' to the resident chef by continuously butting in while she was talking.

Take a look at this:
Although she handled it like a pro, the foodie admitted she was sipping on a cocktail on Friday evening after a hectic morning on telly.
Carr told McKenna that she was 'really racing through' her recipe as she tried to get through everything in her allotted time, before suggesting she was better off putting the chicken carcass in the 'bin' rather than making it go further.

"Pop it in the bin! It's gone, the chicken is gone," the funnyman bluntly told the Irish chef.
McKenna could barely get a word in edgeways as Carr interrupted her with jokes, which the audience reckon even started to rile This Morning presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
Cookbook author McKenna told viewers: "Cover it [the carcass] with cold water, bring it to the boil and you get the most delicious stock, or broth.

"Now this on it's own is so healing and so lovely and so good for you..."
Carr then interjected once again with another sarcastic taunt, as he joked: 'Wait until she finds out about stock cubes!"
McKenna remained undeterred throughout the segment and fans of the show rushed to show support under an Instagram post she shared on Friday shortly after the programme aired.
She uploaded a smiling selfie alongside Hammond and O'Leary alongside the caption: "One chicken, 3 recipes, one @jimmycarr, I’m officially ready for the weekend. Love to the best @alisonhammond55 @dermotoleary.

"My Tarragon & Mustard Roast Chicken, Creamy Parmesan Broccoli & Leftover Chicken Pasta Bake & Soulful Chicken Broth Soup recipes are all up on @thismorning app.
"And if you didn’t catch today's cook you can watch it there too, it’s very funny...TGIF xxx."
Social media users applauded the chef for being such a good sport about the whole thing, while complimenting her recipes which she managed to explain despite 'extreme interference' from the celebrity guest.

One commented: "I’m sorry the three of them talked over the top of you so much, as a viewer it made it hard to hear so must have been frustrating for you! Great recipes though and can’t wait to try."
Another wrote: "Jimmy Carr was funny, wasn't he?…NOT!"
A third added: "You're some lady to keep your cool this morning, Clodagh."
One of McKenna's followers then chimed in and said: "I bet you need a rest. I hope you have one."
The chef then responded to the user and explained she was recuperating 'with a cocktail in hand in our pub' after her day at work.
She also replied to another fan saying the show 'was fun', despite Carr clogging it up with cooking jokes.
