If the reaction to his appearance on This Morning is anything to go by, comedian Jimmy Carr ought to avoid daytime TV like the plague.
Viewers of the ITV show fronted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were anything but amused by the funnyman as he joined the presenters for a cooking segment with resident chef, Clodagh McKenna, on Friday (3 May).
Carr managed to p*ss on people's cornflakes before he had even sat down to discuss his Netflix special Natural Born Killers with the hosts, which he proudly declared is his 'most controversial comedy show yet'.

But it seems that the comedian couldn't even get through cooking a chicken without being controversial, as the audience reckon he was downright 'rude', while McKenna was whizzing around the kitchen.
Take a look at this:
The Irish chef and cookbook author was educating viewers about how you can make 'three delicious dishes' out of just one bird, so she was showing people how they can get their money's worth out of the carcass.

McKenna, clearly conscious of getting through everything in her allotted time, was told by Carr that he 'needed a pen' to note her instructions down, as she was 'really racing through this'.
As she introduced her economic approach to using one chicken to create three dishes, the dad-of-two jumped in and said: "What about chicken one way?"
Then, as McKenna began to explain how Brits can make it go a lot further and started off by setting the carcass aside in a saucepan, Carr couldn't help but interrupt her with a series of wisecracks.
As the 48-year-old placed the carcass into the pan, he quipped: "What? Have you not got a bin?"

McKenna appeared to cooly try and keep things moving by laughing off his joke before resuming her sentence, yet she could barely get a word in edgeways before the comedian interjected with another pun during her segment.
Carr continued: "Pop it in the bin! It's gone, the chicken is gone."
Hammond and O'Leary were also trying to reroute the conversation back to McKenna, but it ended up being a cooking segment filled with a lot of people talking over each other, rather than one filled with tips for foodies.

While battling to make herself heard, the chef said: "Cover it with cold water, bring it to the boil and you get the most delicious stock, or broth.
"Now this on it's own is so healing and so lovely and so good for you..."
At this point, Carr then butt in again with another chunk of food-related humour as he joked: "'Wait until she finds out about stock cubes!"

Although viewers reckon he didn't come up for air, the 8 Out of 10 Cats star still had more to say when he tasted the dish with Hammond and O'Leary - as he teased McKenna by saying that it seemed to 'lack chicken'.
The chef kept her composure, while the former X Factor presenter who replaced Phillip Schofield, put his arm around her and said: "It's hard work when your being heckled by one of the UK's comedian."
People were not impressed with Carr, seemingly acting as though he ruled the roost and flooded a selfie uploaded by the chef on Instagram - with the hosts and minus Carr - with compliments about how she handled the situation.
Of course, there were a few choice words thrown in for the comedian by furious viewers too.
One said: "You were amazing Clodagh under extreme interference!!!"
Another wrote: "Jimmy Carr was incredibly rude to you and Dermot and Alison clearly felt awkward. It’s such a shame that the producers didn’t get them to remove him from there or at least point out he was being rude and ruining your item."
A third added: "Felt so sorry for you, Jimmy Carr was just rude and not at all funny."
A fourth commented: "Well done on biting your tongue with the rudeness of Jimmy Carr and the hosts clearly were mortified."
While a fifth chimed in: "You're some lady to keep your cool this morning, Clodagh."
