This June, there are plenty of summer blockbusters releasing in cinemas and on streaming platforms alike. From Pixar to Marvel, mark your calendar for these brand new motion pictures coming out in the near future.
Hustle - 8 June
Hustle follows a hapless basketball scout who stumbles upon a remarkable player and takes him in without his team’s permission. The film comes out on Netflix on 8 June 2022, and stars Adam Sandler.
Ms Marvel - 8 June
Marvel fans are sure to love this brand new Disney+ movie about Kamala, a superhero fan with a big imagination.
Jurassic World: Dominion - 10 June
With coronavirus stopping film showings far and wide, the Jurassic World release date has been one of those affected. The last movie in the new trilogy of Jurassic Park sequels was held up by a year, but will be on our screens next month.

Halftime - 14 June
This documentary will be released on 14 June 2022 on Netflix after premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier that month.
Lightyear - 17 June
Pixar’s latest hit is scheduled to open in the States on 17 June in RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema and IMAX formats, The new film is a definitive origin story which follows Buzz Lightyear on an exciting cosmic escapade.
Elvis - 22 June
Elvis chronicles the life and work of rock musician and movie star Elvis Presley as well as how he made a name for himself in the 1950s and his complex relationship with his manager. The film is late to our screens after suffering pandemic delays, but Elvis will now be set for release in cinemas on 24 June 2022 by Warner Bros. The US release date for the Elvis film is two days later. HBO Max subscribers will be able to stream the movie just 45 days after its release.
The Black Phone - 24 June
The Black Phone sees a boy named Finney Shaw held in a room by a brutal masked murderer. When a disconnected telephone on the wall starts to ring, he shortly discovers that he can listen to voices of the preceding victims - and they are determined to make sure that Finney doesn’t share their fate. The Black Phone was first set for release on 28 January and later 4 February before being delayed to 24 June. 45 days after its release, it will be available for streaming on Peacock.
