Another day, another challenge presented to the world by MrBeast - only this one is being described as 'psychological torture'.
You know how the first Saw film involves two guys who are locked in a bathroom together for countless hours?
Well MrBeast's latest challenge is kind of like that, only the people aren't chained up, and they're being motivated by the promise of $500,000.

The YouTuber, who is known for drawing people to his channel with a variety of unusual challenges, announced his latest idea in a post on X yesterday (29 September).
He shared a picture of a largely empty white room, furnished with two beds, a couple of cupboards, a sink and a large safe, with a window on either side looking out into blackness.
There doesn't seem to be anything actually entertaining in the room - no TV, no games console, not even any books - and the food supplies seem to be stocked up in cans in one corner.

It looks like something out of a futuristic sci-fi movie, but it's actually the room where MrBeast wants two complete strangers to stay put for more than three months.
Alongside the image, he wrote: "Would you spend 100 days in this room with a random stranger for $500,000 (£409,000)? (Door is unlocked, if one of you leave before day 100 you both lose)."
The YouTuber, whose real name is James Donaldson, hasn't shared many further details about the challenge just yet, but it's already sparked mixed responses from people on X.

Some people - like The Fault in Our Stars author John Green - declared they'd have no trouble completing the challenge, but others weren't so sure about the notion of shutting people away from society in exchange for money.
"MrBeast running psychological torture on poor people like rich villains in horror movies," one critic posted after hearing about the challenge.
Another agreed, writing: "Psychologically damaging people with the promise of money for a YouTube video is insane actually."

Though a lot of people are against the idea for the challenge, MrBeast added another tweet just one minute after the original to indicate the prospect of shutting people in the room was already in motion.
"I’m about to run this experiment, let’s see how they do!," he added.
It's unclear when viewers will get to see the experiment play out on YouTube, but it comes after MrBeast previously tasked one subscriber with staying in a 'circle' in the middle of a field for 100 days with the chance to win $500,000 (£409,000)
At least this challenge comes with the potential of making a new friend?
