After months of anticipation, a viral chocolate bar has finally landed on UK supermarket shelves, but Brits have been left divided over its hefty price tag.
You don’t even need a TikTok account to know that we’re talking about the famous Flair Dubai Chocolate Cake Bar, of course.
The rather decadent Middle Eastern sweet treat gained traction on the social media platform in 2023, and some shoppers have trekked thousands of miles to get their hands on it.

Now, it has been spotted in Morrisons for the first time, all thanks to videos by social media users @emmyoughton and @mumderful_life.
But Brits are seriously divided over its £5.50 price tag.

“£5.50!!!” one social media user wrote. “Trip to Dubai included.” Another agreed, as they commented: “Sorry, how much?!”

A third warned that the chocolate bar isn’t worth the cost. “I got one from Morrison’s today, didn’t realise the price! I wouldn’t have got it otherwise. Most bland chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Save your money, people.”

Others aren’t too fussed by the price and are rushing to their local supermarket as we speak. “Morrisons trip needed!” one wrote.
Another tagged their friend in the comments section and demanded: “Get down there now!”
A third simply declared: “I know where I’m going now!”

The iconic chocolate bar is by the company Fix Dessert Chocolatier, launched in 2021 by British-Egyptian entrepreneur Sarah Hamouda. She was expecting her second child at the time and was looking for a new dessert to satisfy her cravings So, she took to the kitchen to experiment, and that's when the famous Dubai chocolate was born.
It's not hard to see why it's so popular either, as the soft chocolate cake bar is filled with a rich pistachio paste mixed with baked kunafa (a traditional Arab dessert). Due to high demand, Lindt, Lidl, and Marks and Spencer have created their own dupes of the chocolate bar. In fact, Lindt's 'Dubai Style' bar sold out instantly, despite its hefty £10 price tag, and you'll struggle to get hold of the M&S Big Daddy in stores.
Where to buy the viral Dubai chocolate bar now
It appears that the Flair Dubai Chocolate Cake Bar has sold out on the Morrisons’ website, but there’s no need to panic. At the time of writing this, you can get your hands on the cult chocolate bar via Amazon, with a three-pack coming in at £18. If you’re keen to stock up, a six-pack will set you back £40. Let's hope it lives up to the hype.
Visit Amazon to buy the chocolate now (before it sells out again).
