Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have found themselves at the sharp end of a huge backlash over their Halloween costumes.
While there have been plenty of warnings and hysteria around the possibility people may have gone for Jeffrey Dahmer for Halloween following the recent Netflix series, the couple went a different route.
Instead Kelly - real name Colson Baker - and Fox decided to get dressed up as drummer Tommy Lee and Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.
They even mimicked the famous couple's iconic photo shoot poses from years ago, posting a few snaps to Instagram.

Sharing their snaps, Fox wrote: "But are these even costumes?"
Well, it's safe to say that the stunt didn't go down well with a lot of people, many of whom said it was in poor taste.

For those of you who aren't familiar with their story, Pam and Tommy dated in the 90s, famously tying the knot just days after they began seeing each other in 1994.
Things went south very quickly a couple of years later after someone stole their sex tapes and began distributing them.
On top of that, Lee was later arrested and sentenced to six months in prison after he was charged with felony spousal battery following an altercation with the actor.
The couple, who have two kids together, divorced in 1998 before rekindling their relationship in 2008, before splitting once again in 2010.

Their story came back under the spotlight recently with the Disney+ series Pam and Tommy.
Due to the nature of their relationship, people have taken issue with Fox and Kelly for seemingly making light of it.
Slamming the couple, one user said: "Megan Fox and MGK dressed as Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson as it this wasn’t abusive relationship... what the hell is wrong with people?!

"These are NOT costumes! Pamela experienced trauma during this time! stop this s**t!"
Blasting the couple, another commented: "How disgusting to dress up as a woman and her abuser. Vile."
"I’m usually a fan of Megan but this couples costume is very disappointing," put a third. "Tommy Lee literally went to prison for abusing Pamela Anderson.
"Don’t know why people glorify what was a traumatic relationship for Pamela, especially since Megan is a self-described feminist."

While another added: "It’s so saddening to see that female celebrities will do s**t like this despite the woman’s pain just for a costume…it’s so distasteful."
