‘Hotwifing’ husband explains why he wants wife to sleep with other men

A husband who watches his wife sleep with other men says the arrangement is great for their relationship.

Kyle and his wife Maddie have been together for 17 years and started to explore non-monogamy early on because things 'got a bit boring'.

“We were just like let's make a list of things to do to just make things a bit more exciting,” Maddie explained on Channel 4 documentary Love Against The Odds.

While she imagined outings and trips, Kyle had very different ideas.

“He was like 'do you want to have a threesome?', that was what on his list and that's what we did for a few years,” she said.

The couple started experimenting with swinging and meeting other couples, which eventually transitioned into 'hotwifing'.

“In the most basic terms a hot wife is a married woman who goes out and brings other men into her marital bed,” Maddie explained.

“It's basically sleeping with men that aren't your husband.”

At first, Kyle admitted: “I enjoy her going out alone more. What I like about her going out alone is not knowing — your mind is going all over the place.”

He said: “We're really open with each other, we don't hide anything, we don't hold back with how we're feeling.

“I love everything about her I don't know how to say other than she's almost too perfect.

“Even though it looks different to you that it does work it works for us and that's all that matters.”

Afterwards Maddie tells him everything that happened, something Kyle says adds to the experience.

“I like that she can come home and tell me in her words what she experienced, how she felt, what she was feeling,” he explained. “I'm just getting the visual.”

The couple say the dynamic often leads to what they call 'reclaimed sex' afterwards.

“Usually if there's been sex involved we will then have what's known as reclaimed sex and that's the best bit — it's more intense,” Kyle said.

Despite criticism online, Kyle rejects suggestions the arrangement amounts to cheating.

“Cheating is deceitful,” he said. “There's never anything non-consensual in my relationship. I've never cheated in my life.”

“I get told, ‘How can you let your wife do this? Why are you so weak?’ But they don't bother me too much,” Kyle added.

Ultimately, Kyle says it works for them.
