Halloumi fries are on the menu for the first time, following in the footsteps of fellow fast-food giants Burger King. These are going to come in bags of four alongside a rich tomato dip. However, the bad news is you will have to wait until 27 July for those.
Talking of cheese, for those hungry souls that want more than just halloumi, mozzarella dippers will also be making a welcome return to the menu.
The new menu items will be introduced in two waves, beginning with the Taste of Italy Summer Menu. From today, Maccies fans will be able to the new Italian Stack and the Crispy Chicken Italiano.
The Italian Stack burger is comprised of two beef patties, mozzarella, crispy onions, tomato and cheese sauces, served in a tomato and herb bun.

Those who like their chicken can go for the Crispy Chicken Italiano. This comes with a crispy fillet, a tomato slice, mozzarella, a basil pesto-style sauce, red onion and lettuce in a toasted ciabatta-style bun.
It’s not just the savoury items that are getting a revamp, as those with a sweet tooth will also have their taste buds satisfied.
A tiramisu McFlurry will be introduced, meaning diners that are fans of coffee and chocolate are in for a delicious sweet treat.

After the Taste of Italy, the Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu is set to come in. This is when you’ll be able to try the Spicy Spanish Stack and Chicken Fiesta burgers.
A Spicy Spanish Stack has two beef patties, chilli cheddar, red onion, spicy tomato sauce and lettuce, served in a paprika bun.
Meanwhile, a Chicken Fiesta is a crispy chicken fillet that comes with chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion and lettuce in a chilli and paprika bun.

If you fancy something different to wash it down aside from the usual fizzy drink choices, then fret not. The Spanish Fruit Punch is coming – a chilled soft drink that comes in berry and citrus flavours.
But just as we say hello to some new and tasty treats, we will say goodbye to others. The McSpicy chicken burger and the Grand Big Mac are no more, after they left the menu yesterday.
The Flake McFlurry and its raspberry counterpart are also no more, as the 'summer holiday' comes into effect today.
