John Cena’s ex-fiancee, Nikki Bella, has admitted that she ‘couldn’t masturbate’ after watching him perform an incredibly awkward sex scene.
Back in 2015, Cena appeared alongside Amy Schumer in the rom-com Trainwreck.

In the movie, Cena plays Steven — a 'gym addict’ who’s just not quite right for commitment-phobe Amy.
However, it isn’t until she meets Aaron (Bill Hader) that Amy realises monogamy and a healthy relationship may not be that bad after all.
Cena recently opened up about the awkward sex scene in the film.
The WWE star revealed via the Larry King Now show that the moment was 'originally written different'.

“We got into the room and we started to ad-lib,” said Cena. “Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow were so receptive to the kind of twist I put on the character that we ditched all the physical humour and just made it a very uncomfortable scene.”
However, it wasn’t just fans of The Suicide Squad actor who found this cringeworthy scene unbearable.
His ex-fiancee actually admitted that the bedroom scene dampened her sex drive.

Bella, 39 - real name Stephanie Nicole Chigvintsev - revealed in 2018 that she was turned off by the Trainwreck sex scene.
She first spoke about her dislike for Cena’s involvement via her TV show, Total Bellas.
The latter was a reality drama series that aired from October 2016 - January 2021. It starred Bella alongside her sister Brianna Bella - real name Brianna Monique Danielson.

Interestingly, Cena himself actually featured throughout the first three seasons of the E! show.
During S3 Ep 8, Bella discussed the Trainwreck sex scene and how it dampened her libido
“Imagine watching your man do a sex scene and have the whole world see his big butt,” Bella said.
“You know you get visuals. I swear I couldn’t masturbate forever because I just think of the sex scene.”

At the time of speaking, wrestlers Cena and Bella were still engaged. However, the pair eventually broke off their relationship in April 2019.
In 2020, Bella appeared on Maria Menounon’s Better Together podcast to discuss her and Cena’s decision to split.
“Overall, we did have such an incredible relationship, it was just two people that wanted two different lives,” she said.
“We were trying so hard to make it one. Even in the end when he was willing to give me kids, I could just tell, it’s not what he wanted.
“And that’s really… what pushed me [to break-up] in the end.”
Bella and her sister announced at the beginning of March that they would be leaving WWE.
They reflected on their exit during an episode of their Nikki & Brie Show podcast.
“We’re gonna be 40 in November. We’re mothers. We’re entrepreneurs. We’re executive producers… When our contract came up with WWE, we mutually… knew we just needed to head into this chapter.”
