Simon Leviev, A.K.A The Tinder Swindler, has criticised a new GoFundMe page which was organised by his victims.

Leviev, real name Shimon Yehuda Hayut, took to Instagram to share his views on the fundraising page, which was set up by three of his victims: Cecilie Fjellhoy, Pernilla Sjoholm and Ayleen Charlotte. 

He wrote: “Go ahead and help real associations… Not these manipulators. This is what is called MARKETING.”

Previously, Hayut denied his fraudulent behaviour, stating: “If I was a fraud why would I act on Netflix I mean they should have arrested me when we were still shooting [sic].”

“It’s high time the ladies start saying the truth. If you can’t give them world they’ll turn yours to hell [sic].”

Hayut was given a 15 month prison sentence for the crimes he committed, but ended up serving just five before being released due to good behaviour. 

Following the release of the Netflix documentary The Tinder Swindler, he wrote a statement on Instagram before deleting his account. 

He wrote: “I will share my side of the story in the next few days when I have sorted out the best and most respectful way to tell it, both to the involved parties and myself.”

The fraudulent man in question then returned to the social media page with a new account, before addressing his victims’ fundraising page.

More than £30,000 has been raised for the victims featured in the documentary so far.
