A lip reader explained exactly what Travis Kelce screamed in the face of his Kansas City Chiefs head coach, Andy Reid, during a heated moment at Super Bowl LVIII.
And given how it made him look, and how social media reacted, he may be inclined to not take the same approach for the 2025 Super Bowl as he and Patrick Mahomes look to make a 'three-peat' of Lombardi Trophy wins in a row.
It was during the big match last year, on Sunday, 11 February that now 35-year-old Kelce yelled in the face of 66-year-old Reid. A moment driven by pure emotion and a desire to win saw Kelce push what is acceptable right to the edge.
While the Chiefs won the 2024 Super Bowl, it was an incredible close affair, with the lead changing hands multiple times before ending all square at the end of regulation time.

Going to overtime, it was only the second time in the Super Bowl's history that such a moment happened.
And given how much was at stake on every single play, Kelce - who was watched on by girlfriend Taylor Swift in the crowd - confronted his boss while being rested on the sidelines part way through the 60-minute game.

The player was seen screaming in Reid's face and knocking him off balance while grabbing the coach's coat.

Kelce's then-teammate Jerick McKinnon had to intervene and drag Kelce away from the boss of the Chiefs.
Reid himself cooled the incident after the game, telling CBS that such moments help to 'keep him young' and poked fun at his own 'not so good' balance.
"[Kelce] caught me off-balance. Normally I get him a little bit but I didn't have any feet under me," he explained.
"He loves to play the game and he loves to help his team win, it's not a selfish thing. As much as he bumps into me, I get after him. We understand that. He just caught me off balance."

According to lip readers speaking to MailOnline, Kelce had said an eight-word outburst at his coach.
"Keep me in, you f**ker! I'm calm now," the tight end is reported to have said.
As to what was actually said, Kelce has never revealed the exact words, telling reporters he was 'keeping that between them unless his mic tells the world'.

Taking to his New Heights podcast that he hosts with brother and NFL legend Jason Kelce, Travis said: "I can’t get that fired up to the point where bumping Coach and it’s getting him off balance and stuff.
"When he stumbled, I was like, ‘aw, sh*t’, in my head.”
