Holidays are supposed to be relaxing; you switch your out-of-office on, pop on your sunglasses and sandals, and relax.
But even when you're thousands of miles away from the stresses of home life, sitting on a beach and sipping on a pint, tensions can arise.
And often it's all over the coveted sun lounger.

Hotel guests wake up at the crack of dawn to leave their mark, much like a dog does during a walk, but instead of spraying their piddle all over the bed, they drape a towel.
It's enough to make your blood boil.
And one tourist sparked quite the debate when they did just that during a trip last year.

Kenny Neilson was holidaying in Turkey with his family, and while he was having a lovely time, he was sick of missing out on a bed every morning.
So he took matters into his own hands, and woke up at 5.30am to reserve his space.
In a video posted to his TikTok channel, Kenny can be seen standing by the pool, with the words 'holiday sun lounger wars' written over the clip.
"Morning, everybody, half-five in the morning," he says.

"Thought to myself, get right up there this morning, man. Got up and got the four best stops. Here we go!"
Unsurprisingly, it didn't go down too well with many watching, who felt that it was pretty out of order.
"That’s a new level of sadness," wrote one.
Another chipped in: "Omg how sad."

"I get up that early when I'm away but I'd never put towels on a lounger," put a third.
While someone else added: "Jesus Christ. Some holiday."
Safe to say that Kenny couldn't give two hoots what the haters had to say about his antics, though.

Revelling in the outrage, he said: "I realise why they do it now. It annoys people so much whahahahaha.
"Whahhahahahahahahah some buzz. I love a opinion lol early rise every morning. days are not to be wasted. Sun loungers to accommodate whahahah."
Not everyone was so disappointed by the video, though.
Some agreed, saying they could see where he was coming from.
"Same . family first every time," wrote one user.
To which Kenny replied: "All the raging people sitting at the back wishing they could see there kids swim lol."
I guess, if you can't beat them, join them, eh?
