Non-believers have been left with a big foot in their mouth after the clearest ever footage of the beast has gone viral online.
A large stomping figure, reminiscent of the mysterious Bigfoot, was spotted in the Colorado mountains on Sunday (8 October).
Watch below:
Train passengers and eyewitnesses Shannon and Stetson Parker - who were travelling from Durango to Silverton - were filming the mountain range, on the search for elk.

However, they came across something a lot more interesting.
The video showed a large figure walking in view of the train before squatting down into the ground.
After the footage went viral on socials, some viewers wondered how his fur could be so 'clean and shiny for someone who lives out in the desert'.
Other Bigfoot deniers thought it was just a 'rented costume', as someone else thought this latest sighting was 'good footage' of Bigfoot and 'for sure not a bear', leaving them 'not sure what to think'.

“We were looking for elk in the mountains and my husband sees something moving and then can’t really explain it. So he’s like ‘Bigfoot!’” Shannon, a 44-year-old contractor from Cheyenne, Wyo. told The New York Post.
“It was at least six, seven feet or taller. It matched the sage in the mountains so much that he’s like camouflaged when crouching down.
"If you asked before our trip we would have said maybe [Bigfoot] could be real, but now we’re convinced.”

Now, we might finally get the answers we are looking for after one of America’s most prominent Bigfoot experts has weighed in on footage.
Michael Rugg, curator of the Bigfoot Discovery Museum in California, told the outlet that although he will struggle to debunk the clip, there still remains some doubts.
“I have to say I looked at the video and [the creature] had a strong possibility of being a guy in a suit,” he said.

“It didn’t look right to me.
“It’s not muscular enough. There’s not enough detail to be able to judge it but it wouldn’t surprise me if somebody from [another Bigfoot] museum was out to build up publicity.”
More evidence came to light last week to make the 'guy in a suit' hypothesis look increasingly likely.

An X user commented on the footage to reveal the area is popular for Bigfoot themed expeditions.
One guy who owns Sasquatch Expedition Campers even tends to dress up as the beast.
And if you have a peek on the company's page, there's an image of a guy in costume which looks unmistakably similar to the figure spotted in the viral footage.
Time to take those tin foil hats back off, then.
