Rule number one of a wedding is to never upstage the bride - but this photobomber clearly missed that memo.
Newlyweds Austin and Hailey Bode obviously wanted people to be blown away by the pictures from the biggest day of their lives, but not in this sense of the phrase.
The happy couple, from the US state of Nebraska, were drastically outshined during their photoshoot on the streets of their hometown following their nuptials on 19 July.

Although the pair look fabulous, people have been more preoccupied with what's going on in the background of one snap of them smooching - as it looks as though their marriage could have been over before it had even began.
That's because what looks like a tornado - yes, one of those violently rotating columns of air that cause mass destruction - can be seen hovering above Hailey's head in the image.
Photographer Alyssa Wallace had the honour of capturing the special moments during Austin and Hailey's big day, but she had no idea she would snap what seemed to be an approaching tornado in the back of one of them.

Speaking of the moment she realised that a terrifying funnel cloud was creeping up on them, she told 1011Now: "Somebody happened to say that there is a tornado behind us. And I thought 'Oh, my goodness'.
"And instead of our first initial reaction being ‘Should we go take cover?’, it was, ‘Let’s run out in the street and go take a photo of the bride and groom on a wedding day'.
"Because we’re from Nebraska, of course."

Local meteorologist Bill Rentschler said it might not technically be classed as a 'tornado' due to it not appearing to touch the ground, but he confirmed it was 'definitely a funnel'.
He told the outlet: "These are super awesome wedding pictures - definitely better than what I had taken from my wedding. But as far as whether it’s a tornado or not, it’s hard to really say.
"It’s definitely a funnel, but it’s only a tornado when that circulation makes it all the way down to the ground. And we can’t see that in these photos again, that building is in the background, so we can’t really tell.
"Again, definitely a funnel, though we had reports from that day from the National Weather Service of funnels in the area, but there have been no tornadoes, or confirmed tornados from that day."

Regardless of its true identity, photographer Alyssa reckons the pictures couldn't have turned out better.
"There’s beautiful moments to be captured with a bride and groom," she added. "Memorable moments or putting on the dress, or detail photos, the first kiss and everything.
"But an experience photo is ‘Here’s the full story of what was happening behind the scenes', and capturing the emotion.

"That was a part of the day. And it was a beautiful day. To see, here is this tornado going around, but all that matters is their love for one another. I just think it really shows that unity between the two of them."
Who knew terrifying forces of nature and weddings went so well together, eh?
