A woman was less than impressed after a postman left her package in a random location somewhere on her 800 acre property. Happy hunting!
We have all been there when you receive the message ‘your parcel was left in a safe place', and the picture is so blurry you can’t even make out where it is.
But having to search 800 acres takes things to a whole new level, especially when every patch of land looks the same.

An angry Australian woman has spoken out about Australia Post, who left her parcel located somewhere in an 800-acre plot, leaving her to look for it.
The parcel was worth $100, and was left by the postal company under a tree, of which there are quite a few on her property.
This left Heidi from Queensland, unwillingly, with quite the investigative task on her hands.

She posted a video to TikTok shortly after her unwanted scavenger hunt, expressing her frustration just moments after finding the parcel.
She said: “Thank you, Australia Post, just when I thought you guys couldn’t get any f**king stupider.
“I got a message earlier to say my parcel has been delivered, normally gets delivered to our local stores seeing as we’re not exactly in town.
“I go down to the store … the store doesn’t have it.”

After looking on her app, it said that the delivery had been left in a ‘safe space’.
She continued: “I've just found my parcel, which is worth about $100 or more.
“Any sensible person, you would think, would drive up the driveway to the house at the top and leave it up there.
“But no, not this clown.

“[They thought], ‘I'll just drive in and pick a tree and hope like f**k the owner finds it.
“Thank Christ the owner did find it.
“Only by sheer luck, I had no idea which tree this was under.

“'Low and behold, here it is.
“Cheers Australia Post, well done.”
It has since been reported by the Daily Mail that the delivery was made by a new driver, who didn’t understand the policy when dropping a parcel off in a rural location.
In a statement about the situation, Australia Post said: “Australia Post takes seriously its responsibility to deliver mail and parcels, and the vast majority of items are delivered safely.
“We have looked into this and contacted the customer directly to apologise.
“Customers with any delivery concerns are encouraged to contact us on 13 POST so we can provide help and support.”
