Eddie Hearn says Wayne Rooney texts him asking him to set up boxing fights.
The promoter revealed that the ex-England striker occasionally gets in touch with him after he's had a drink or two and he gets a little giddy.
Now, anyone who's seen the infamous video of Rooney sparring in his kitchen will know that he's a fan of the art of boxing.

The 37-year-old has been into the sport since he was young, and is often seen ringside at some of the biggest bouts in the world.
And speaking ahead of Anthony Joshua's fight against Jermaine Franklin this weekend, Hearn revealed that the former Manchester United player wants to lace up the gloves.
Asked on the Peter Crouch Podcast if there were any footballers who he thought had the minerals to get into the ring, the 43-year-old said: "Rooney can fight. I've spoken to Wayne.

"When Wayne has a drink he'll message and he'll start going, 'I'll fight him, I'll fight him'. And I get excited.
"Sometimes I get a message from Wayne going, 'Make me and so and so. Make that fight.'
"I'll look at it in the morning and go, 'F**king hell. This is massive'.
"And then I'll message him and go, 'Few glasses of red or...?'. And he won't reply. And I'll go, 'Damn'."

Sadly, while you can never say never in the fight game, I don't think we'll be seeing Wazza taking on a YouTuber anytime soon.
Hearn's comments come after the promoter took aim at 'greedy' Tyson Fury for not taking fights.
For what seems like an eternity, the Gypsy King and Anthony Joshua have been set to fight one another at some point in the future.

And most recently, Fury was set to get it on with Oleksandr Usyk, but that seems to have fallen through now too.
Prior to the fight being called off, Hearn, who represents Joshua, said Fury has been taking fans for a ride, and that his fighter never dodged a fight, no matter the price.
Speaking to IFL TV, the promoter said: “I’ll tell you this, Anthony Joshua fought Oleksandr Usyk back to back – no f**king problems, no questions, no long negotiations - 'That’s my mandatory? I’ll fight him'.
“Everyone said, ‘Swerve Oleksandr Usyk. He’s a tough, tough fight; you don’t want to fight him'.

"AJ said: ‘No, I want to be undisputed. Give me Usyk'. Done. The rematch comes in. ‘Oh, you don’t want to fight Usyk, you need a warm-up fight'. [AJ said:] ‘Give me Usyk'."
Hearn went on, telling told Fury to 'f**k off', claiming that he wants too much money and just 'isn't the draw' he thinks he is.
He went on: "When are you guys out there going to start understanding? [Fury says] 'It's not about the money, I'll fight him for free, as long as the tickets are free for the general public'. F*** off."
