When it comes to finally popping the question, there’s usually such a build-up.
From them constantly nagging and wondering if you’re ever actually going to do it, to figuring out where, when and how to ask them to marry you.
Let alone the whole asking their dad for permission thing or getting rejected. There’s just so many factors that go into getting engaged – unless you know, you’re both pretty chill and you casually just simply ask them.

But when you’ve finally arranged the ultimate proposal, you’re probably not thinking about whether someone else is going to ruin the moment in the background of the picture.
Especially if you decide to propose somewhere like Disneyland.
I mean, we all know at least one person from school or an old colleague who’s announced their engagement with a photo in front of the castle.

And this poor couple ended up being mocked for their romantic moment as someone in the background took away a lot of the attention.
A viral photo on social media shows a bloke proposing to his girlfriend in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in Disneyland, California.
And while some slam him for being ‘unoriginal’, others can’t help but point out another man with the same idea in the background.
In the far right of the snap, you can see another guy down on one knee with the castle behind him.

Imagine photobombing someone’s proposal snap with your own proposal.
It’s not clear when this snap was taken but it was previously shared in the Facebook group named 'That’s It I’m Proposal Shaming'.
One joked: “When you get the prime spot so the guy at the back has to propose by the bench.”

Another slammed: “If someone else is proposing in the same area as you at the exact same time as you, that's your clue that your idea is completely unoriginal.”
With others writing: “If you're gonna get engaged at Disney at least pick somewhere not so common lol.”
One simply put: “If I were the guy in the back I’d pick a different spot.”
As many asked: “Why not wait an hour and come back or do it the next day. I don’t get it.” Some were shocked that there’s ‘that many Disney proposals’ as people called it ‘cheesy’.

But one did put: “Well this is a perfect way to show just how overdone it is.
“Though wtf am I saying because I dream of the overdone proposal in front of Hogwarts.”
Even if it is ‘overdone’, it’s still a dream for many couples, so you know, each to their own.
