Man who lost his penis in accident reveals the one awkward question people always ask

Man who lost his penis in accident reveals the one awkward question people always ask

He lost his manhood in a motorcycle accident and has revealed how his life is different four years later

A man has opened up about what it's like to live without a penis in an extremely candid admission online, and revealed the one big question that people want the answer to.

The mystery user took to Reddit in an 'ask me anything' thread, with the 33-year-old simply writing: "I (33) lost my wiener 4 years ago on an accident. AMA."

If you were wondering how it happened, don't worry, as he revealed all: “It was a motorcycle accident. Got hit by a pickup truck. The bike got ruined and something sharp jammed on my tight and split my wiener.”

It's a horror story, and one we wouldn't ever hear about if it weren't for social media.

You'd probably think that he'd get a reconstruction or an attempt to salvage it, though he divulged that it didn't go to plan: "Doctors did a reconstruction but it got infected a week later and the whole thing had to be amputated, I nearly died from it. I can get one constructed but I’m terrified from the infection and can’t got [sic] through with it yet."

Several different users weighed in with questions and wonders of their own, and when asked about how he felt after finding out that his manhood was gone, he simply said that he 'wanted to just die', but stayed as his wife said she would end up doing the same thing if he chose that path.

Opening further about those early days, he revealed: "Mentally, the first year was awful and I have spent so much time with my shrink. I felt I was no longer a man and didn’t want to stay married and felt I could never look at my wife again.

“The sexual desire was and is there but I have tried a lot to suppress it, especially in the beginning because well you know why. I still get depressed about it but I have learned to cope for the most part.”

The man then revealed the answer to one of his most commonly asked questions - people wanted to know if he could still become sexually aroused and get intimate with his partner, and how he does it.

Luckily, he can, and when he was asked if he could ejaculate, he revealed: "Yes, I do the same way. I ejaculate but it’s weird cause there not [sic] shaft so it just oozes out of me. My wife gets a kick out of it but I find it weird."

In terms of what they do, he also explained that they use sex toys on each other to compensate for his lack of manhood, as he also said: "I have just a little bump left. And yes, I can get pleasure using a vibrator on it."

The user also said that 'all kinds of foreplay, nipple and anal stimulations' help him to climax too.

But on the whole, he is still getting used to not having something to hold onto dow there, as he revealed how 'ghost morning wood' feels, adding: "Ghost morning wood is a thing. For a while I’d go to grab it and it wasn’t there. These were dark days."

Several users sent him messages of support in the thread for soldiering on despite his condition, as one commented: "As a woman, if you’re a loving partner to your wife, are kind to others, compassionate and decent, then to me you’re a giant of a man. Our bodies don’t dictate what kind of person we are inside."

Another added: "Geeze bro, just wanna give you a hug and tell you it’ll be okay."

A third said: "I can only imagine what you're going through.. I've got questions I want to ask, but unsure how to ask for fear of hurting your feelings. Best of luck."

And many were quick to praise his wife for standing by him and being patient during the difficult times, with one saying: "She’s an absolute real one and you should worship the ground your wife walks on. She took the vows like a G."
