A woman decided to stop doing any housework after her husband told her she did nothing around the house and posted the results to TikTok.
TikToker @lindsaydonnelly2 decided to cook up some revenge after her husband said that she didn't do anything around the house.
So she decided to stop doing any housework for a couple of days and posted the results online.

She posted a video showing her untidy house strewn with dirty dishes and rooms in desperate need of a tidy up with the caption: "Then I left town for a girls trip... #marriagehumor'.
However, that video might have gone ever so slightly more viral than she was expecting as millions of people have since watched the video.
In a follow-up video, her husband joined her to explain the situation and said that he had apologised for the comment.

Since posting the video, Donnelly has released other videos showing that she and her husband could see the funny side of their viral fame.
She posted a video joking that she 'might accidentally roast you in a TikTok video and let 7 million people join in on the fun', and since that was posted, the viewer count on the original video has shot to almost 13 million.
The TikToker then added yet another video to the mix where she said she 'roasted my almost perfect husband', saying he 'cleans daily more than I do'.
People responding to the viral video haven't always seen the funny side, however, with quite a lot of the comments telling her that she ought to divorce her husband.

Given that her subsequent videos have her describing her other half as an 'almost perfect husband', a separation probably isn't on the cards for this couple despite the TikTok comment section's best efforts.
Others who weren't actively trying to tell her to get a divorce also threw their two cents into the conversation over her decision to completely stop doing any housework.
One person said: "I wanna do this but it would drive ME crazy," and someone else admitted that they'd tried it themselves but forgot they were supposed to be leaving a mess and 'absent mindedly' threw out their rubbish a few hours later.

And some said they'd taken this approach for six months and suggested that she should have taken all of the discarded clothes so she could 'dump it all on his side of the bedroom'.
Another added that they'd been through the same thing, only to get sick and have their partner admit that the housework was much harder than they thought after they started to do it.
