Elon Musk has sat down with Joe Rogan for yet another podcast as the two online personalities discuss everything from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to his AI platform Grok and, yes, even sex robots.
Musk, the world's richest man, appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience at the weekend as he has done many times before. The difference this time is that he is at the heart of the most powerful government on the planet, the right hand man of President Donald Trump.
Heading up the DOGE initiative that is looking at reducing federal government spending, he has become one of the most powerful political voices in the world due to the power the new position has given him.

Sitting down with Rogan, he also spoke about the infamous salute he gave during President Trump's inauguration, something critics said was akin to a Nazi gesture.
Addressing this, Musk made light of the situation saying he can no longer safely raise his arm diagonally.
"Hopefully, people realise I am not a Nazi," Musk told Rogan. "The war and genocide is the bad part not their mannerisms and their dress code."

But the podcast started on a rather unusual angle, with the topic of AI kicking things off.

In particular, there was a focus on Musk's own AI programme known as Grok; something people can access through X (formerly known as Twitter until the South African bought it for $44 billion).
Kicking off the podcast, Rogan said he and Musk had been exploring the latest version of Grok which comes with eye-opening 'sexy' 18+ chat mode and an 'unhinged' mode.

"It's a dirty AI and it's a real problem," Rogan joked.
"It's a weird time and with your crazy f**king AI you're bringing us in to weirder and weirder times."
After testing the weird elements to the latest version of Grok, talk stayed in the realm of AI, venturing on to the topic of sex robots. Naturally.

Conversation veered towards how AI technology could power such creations and what might happen when they eventually come to the open market to be bought.
On when we could expect them, Musk said it 'probably wont be long' until we get them on the hypothetical shelves.
"Less than five years probably," Musk added.
Responding, Rogan said: "Really? Will it be warm?"

Musk said: "You can probably have whatever you want."
Chat then moved even more left field on to having robot sex with a 'furry lady' or alien from the Avatar films. Each to their own.
