“I do feel very proud of it, because I feel that it is that film that just keeps giving,” Winslet recently told Vanity Fair.
“Whole other generations of people are discovering the film or seeing it for the first time and there’s something extraordinary about that.”
Now, during the iconic 'I'm Flying' scene, Winslet has opened up about the sheer amount of makeup the pair had on, making it a bizarre kissing experience.

“My god, he’s quite the romancer, isn’t he? No wonder every young girl in the world wanted to be kissed by Leonardo DiCaprio,” Winslet joked.
“It was not all it’s cracked up to be.
“We kept doing this kiss, and I’ve got a lot of pale makeup on and I would have to do our makeup checks — on both of us, between takes — and I would end up looking as though I’d been sucking a caramel chocolate bar after each take because his makeup would come off on me.”
As she rewatched the scene, the Academy Award winner quipped: "Oh God, it was such a mess.

She then said: “And Rufus Sewell is so terrific, you know, I used to go out with Rufus Sewell years ago.
"Back in the day, a long time ago, I think I must have been 21 or something.
"He's so fantastic and to see him front and centre in a way that I think we haven't done on British television for a long, long time, very long time, I'm really, really excited to see what he does.”
Winslet has been married to Edward Abel Smith since 2012.
